Research and Development is the most important department of the Computer Centre. It is responsible for new technologies that classify new knowledge and information into the field of information technology. Then, implementing this information to create new and advanced projects, thus serving the centre and meeting the needs of the university and society. It is divided into:
- Projects Section
This section of the centre is responsible for feasibility studies for projects carried out by the centre within the university or for other institutions outside the university. This unit is also concerned internally with information technology projects.
- Research and Development Section
The aim of this section is to keep pace with the rapid technological development in the world and to open new horizons in the sciences of technology and technology and to prepare studies and research.
- Training and Laboratories Section
The aim of this section is to provide a modern training environment for university members in particular and to serve the community in general by holding scientific courses and conferences in the field of computers and their specialized and scientific certificates.
